Logopak, the inventor of the first print-and-apply labelling system in 1978, offers trusted quality and security. With UK-based parts and a skilled engineering network, most sites are reachable within three hours for same-day repairs.
Logopak provides tailored labelling solutions for supply chain and logistics sectors, ensuring efficient product identification with GS1-compliant barcodes and RFID-enabled options for enhanced tracking.
The last 18 months has seen a rapid increase in consumer purchasing in the eCommerce sector. Any product entering the distribution/logistics supply chain requires identification in the form of a barcode shipping label.
As specialists in automated bagging machine solutions and automated carton labelling solutions, this automated process removes the requirement for manual interaction, by automatically scanning the product for its ID, creating a ‘look up’ for the customer order, downloading the carrier label via an API call and finally automatically packages/labels the finished order.
Logopak have worked closely with their partners ADPAK and BVM over the last decade to develop a fully integrated eCommerce auto-bagging and labelling solution to meet the demands of some of the UK’s largest online and high street retailers. The Comtex and Compacta ranges provide varied solutions for both dispatch and returns for online retailers.
Both options integrate fully with Logopak hardware and software, enabling automated packaging slip insertion and dispatch carrier labelling.
The Comtex allows secure, customised bags for single or multiple products, dispatching 900-1,500 packs per hour. It reduces manual effort, waste, and increases profitability by allowing products to be returned in original quality packaging.
The Compacta offers a lower-cost alternative with similar benefits. While the Comtex creates custom-sized bags, the Compacta uses a standard-width bag with an optimised length.
