On 2 & 3 February, The British & International Franchise Exhibition will open its doors to provide the spark of inspiration for the next generation of franchise entrepreneurs. Aspiring business owners are invited to Olympia London to learn all about this proven business model and unlock the potential of franchising.
Exclusively supported by the British Franchise Association (BFA), the event will showcase over 100 franchise brands from a broad range of sectors including McDonald’s, Vodafone IT Business Hubs, Subway, Anytime Fitness, Tutor Doctor and many more!
A packed programme of over 50 free talks covering all aspects of franchising will help inform and inspire attendees to take the next step on their franchise journey. Prospective investors will benefit from ‘An introduction to franchising’, Real Franchise Stories Q&A sessions and deep dives into specific sectors.
Highlights include a keynote presentation from serial entrepreneur and former Dragons’ Den investor Piers Linney. He will share his ‘5 essentials for launching a successful business’ featuring a set of practical tips. Ex-Premier League footballer-turned-franchisor, Anton Ferdinand, will deliver Saturday’s keynote: ‘From pitch to profit: Kicking goals in business.’
Throughout the event, industry experts will be on hand to offer complimentary one-to-one advice. Specialist lawyers will decode the legalities, funding providers will shine a light on the range of finance options and franchise consultants will offer insights into the practicalities.
The popular International Pavilion returns to showcase overseas franchises looking to expand into the UK market. This has the attractive benefit of offering investors the chance to become early adopters, getting ahead of the competition and making their mark in a new business venture. Brands include Applebee’s, IHOP and Wienerschnitzel.
Existing franchisees with ambitions to expand or entrepreneurs considering investing in a master licence should register for the Multi-unit & Master Franchise Conference. Established multi-unit operators and representatives from brands including Starbucks, M&S and EE will share how to build a franchise empire.
Helen McCulloch, Portfolio Director for The Franchise Exhibitions, comments, “With 1 in 2 Brits harbouring an ambition to be their own boss, we are a nation of entrepreneurs! This year’s event offers everything a prospective franchisee needs to kickstart their journey to business ownership in 2024. It’s the ideal place to make those all-important connections and gather inspiration for your franchise plans.”
