Marcel Piątkowski: Head of Sales from ACP Global Forwarding exhibited at Multimodal 2024 from 11th-13th June at the NEC Birmingham. He was part of an esteemed group of trade professionals interviewed for a ‘Meet the Experts’ video series at the three-day event. In the interview, Marcel spoke candidly about navigating post-Brexit customs and pinpointed how ACP Global Forwarding is providing bespoke solutions for British-based customers.

“British entrepreneurs or company owners don’t need to open directly in Poland for example, they can register VAT as a VAT payee, acquire a European number and then seamlessly make shipments as one declaration/load each time, which can be more cost-effective.”
ACP Global Forwarding runs a ‘tight ship’ – as we say in the UK. Whilst many of the Mediterranean companies take extended holidays during the hotter months, this Warshaw powerhouse has continued running services as usual. For example, wine shipments have been arriving, without delay from Italian vineyards to bespoke wineries across the UK and all this with increased holiday road traffic.
